SHOWREEL
This showreel showcases my work compiled over the past nine years, featuring projects for esteemed clients such as InStyle magazine, Elle magazine, Adidas, New Era, Topshop, Jameson whiskey, and The Healthy Mummy. My portfolio includes numerous short films, along with experience as a camera operator on broadcast TV shows like "Shallow Graves," "999: Killer on the Line," and "World's Most Shocking Emergency Calls."
EVIL EYE
With its haunting melody and evocative lyrics, backed by a moody soundscape, ‘Evil Eye’ is the gorgeous debut single from London-based singer-songwriter Violet Love Child.
I filmed, edited and colour graded the entire video.
YUM BUG
I joined the Yum Bug team and spearheaded the production of a series of short film promotional documentaries for their pop-up restaurant, showcasing their innovative edible insect meat offerings. The videos feature renowned chefs, including the Head of Food at Nando's and the culinary talent behind Brewdog, showcasing the dishes they crafted for Yum Bug's unique dining experience.
SHAEFRI: MONSTER
Directing this music video was a delightful experience, thanks to the creative freedom granted to me. Leveraging my expertise from shooting with InStyle, I employed vintage lenses and prisms to fashion an eerie and unsettling dreamscape taking the audience on a nightmarish journey.
WULFMAN FURY
I was introduced to the Sheffield band Wulfman Fury through a mutual friend, with whom I had collaborated on numerous music videos and live performance recordings. This presented another opportunity for me to enhance my skills and delve into creating dynamic content through the filming of large events.
NEW ERA: THE ACTS OF GRIME
In my role as a frequent collaborator with the East London duo Tim and Barry, I had the pleasure of filming, gimbal operating, editing, and color grading under their direction. Our focus was on creating captivating documentaries that intricately showcased London’s vibrant Grime music scene, specifically commissioned by New Era.
ECOSA
In March 2019, I relocated to Melbourne. After a brief period, I secured a position at Ecosa, Australia’s leading online mattress retailer, serving as their in-house videographer. My responsibilities included crafting engaging advertisements for Facebook and Instagram. This marked my initial venture into content creation aimed at driving product sales and profitability.
Over the course of my year at Ecosa, I successfully increased the return on ad spend by 4.61%. Unfortunately, due to the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, I made the decision to return to the UK.
IN STYLE
I was commissioned to produce several behind-the-scenes videos for InStyle magazine, including noteworthy shoots featuring Maisie Williams, renowned for her role as Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, and Made in Chelsea star Andy Jordan. Filming behind-the-scenes videos in the realm of fashion proved to be an ideal fit for me, given my deep interest in vintage lenses and filters. I leveraged these elements to craft a captivating and dreamlike aesthetic in the videos.
ELLE: BE MORE ACTIVIST
I was commissioned by Elle magazine to film and edit a series of short interviews with female activists at the Women of the World festival.
PINGHE BTS
I received a commission to shoot a video for the fashion brand Pinghe, showcasing their latest autumn/winter look book. It provided yet another wonderful opportunity to explore abstract imagery by utilising camera filters, prisms, and vintage lenses. The final results exceeded my expectations, with the incorporation of prisms contributing to seamless and dreamlike transitions that I found particularly satisfying.
KITRI
Fashion brand Kitri approached me to film a behind-the-scenes look at one of their photo shoots. It provided another excellent opportunity for me to experiment with my approach to fashion video.
LUCY WATSON & HUAWEI
Marking my second collaboration with a Made In Chelsea star I shot this social media promotion for Lucy Watson & Huawei.
CARE DENTAL PLATINUM
Throughout the citywide Corona virus lockdown in London, I served as a full-time videographer for a marketing firm specialising in facial aesthetics and dental services. Here is an example of the content I regularly produced for them on a weekly basis.
THIS IS BRENT
As part of my ongoing collaborations with Tim and Barry, I had the opportunity to film and edit a short film for Brent's bid to secure London's Borough of Culture award. The efforts proved successful, as Brent emerged victorious, earning the borough a grant of £1.35 million to host a year-long program of cultural events and activities.
JAMESON WORKS
My initial assignment with Tim and Barry involved capturing the story of their newly acquired grant from Jameson Whiskey. I was commissioned to film and edit a documentary outlining how they utilised the grant funds to establish a mobile studio.
SPACE WHITE
Throughout my year at Ecosa, the second-largest online mattress retailer in Australia, I was tasked by the CEO to create an advertisement for a revolutionary cleaning product that utilizes only water, salt, and electrolysis. I meticulously planned the entire shoot, managed talent casting, wrote the script, filmed the content and handled the editing in post-production.
THE HEALTHY MUMMY
I shot and edited this behind the scenes/customer testimonial video for the Healthy Mummy. The Healthy Mummy is an Australian health and weight loss scheme for busy mums.
DRAKE’S
I was commissioned by the men's fashion brand Drake's to produce a behind-the-scenes video for one of their new collections. Given the brand's minimalistic approach, I chose not to incorporate some of the more experimental aspects of my previous fashion videography visual style, aiming to better align with and enhance their vision.
