This showreel showcases my work compiled over the past nine years, featuring projects for esteemed clients such as InStyle magazine, Elle magazine, Adidas, New Era, Topshop, Jameson Whiskey, and Gronda. My portfolio includes numerous short films, along with experience as a camera operator on broadcast TV shows like "Shallow Graves," "999: Killer on the Line," and "World's Most Shocking Emergency Calls."
NEW ERA: THE ACTS OF GRIME
In my role as a frequent collaborator with the East London duo Tim and Barry, I had the pleasure of filming, gimbal operating, editing, and color grading under their direction. Our focus was on creating captivating documentaries that intricately showcased London’s vibrant Grime music scene, specifically commissioned by New Era.
ECOSA
During my time in Australia’s, I served as the in-house videographer for Australia’s leading online matress retailer, Ecosa . My role involved creating compelling advertisements tailored for Facebook and Instagram, marking my entry into sales-driven content creation. Over the course of a year, I contributed to boosting the return on ad spend through innovative and engaging video campaigns. For these campaigns, I handled every aspect of pre and post production, including sourcing actors, scriptwriting, lighting, videography, and editing.
IN STYLE
I produced a series of behind-the-scenes videos for InStyle magazine, featuring high-profile shoots with Maisie Williams (Arya Stark from Game of Thrones) and Made in Chelsea star Andy Jordan. I captured high-fashion visuals to align seamlessly with the desired aesthetic of each shoot, creating a captivating and polished final product.
YUM BUG
I joined the Yum Bug team and spearheaded the production of a series of short film promotional documentaries for their pop-up restaurant, showcasing their innovative edible insect meat offerings. The videos feature renowned chefs, including the Head of Food at Nando's and the culinary talent behind Brewdog, showcasing the dishes they crafted for Yum Bug's unique dining experience.
LUCY WATSON & HUAWEI
I filmed and produced a social media advert for Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson's collaboration with Huawei. The project highlighted Huawei’s innovative products while showcasing Lucy’s signature style and charm. Designed to engage social media audiences, the advert seamlessly blended her lifestyle with the product’s features, creating a compelling and stylish promotion for the Huawei brand.
JAMESON WORKS
My initial assignment with Tim and Barry involved capturing the story of their newly acquired grant from Jameson Whiskey. I was commissioned to film and edit a documentary outlining how they utilised the grant funds to establish a mobile studio.
THIS IS BRENT
I had the opportunity to film and edit a short film for Brent's bid to secure London's Borough of Culture award. The efforts proved successful, as Brent emerged victorious, earning the borough a grant of £1.35 million to host a year-long program of cultural events and activities.
DRAKE’S
I was commissioned by men's fashion brand Drake's to produce an exclusive behind-the-scenes video for one of their collections. With a reputation for their chic aesthetic and commitment to timeless elegance, my goal here was to craft a visual narrative that authentically aligned with the brand's identity. By capturing the essence of their understated yet refined style, I showcased the collection in a way that stayed true to the brand's identity.
WULFMAN FURY
Filmed and edited dynamic live music coverage for Wulfman Fury, capturing their electrifying performance at the Tramlines Festival. My dynamic editing captured the high-energy vibe of the live music festival and complemented the band's sound, resulting in an immersive and visually engaging video experience. Behind-the-scenes footage was also incorporated, offering fans an exclusive look at the band's preparation and backstage moments.
ELLE: BE MORE ACTIVIST
Filmed and edited a series of impactful interviews for ELLE Magazine with prominent female activists, including Gemma Cairney, Adowa Adoah, and Stella Creasy, at the Women of the World (WOW) festival at the Southbank Centre. Contributed to the production of content showcasing diverse forms of activism, and was honoured to be part of this inspiring event.
PINGHE BTS
I was commissioned to shoot a video for the fashion brand Pinghe, showcasing their latest autumn/winter lookbook. The project involved the creative use of camera filters, prisms, and vintage lenses to explore abstract imagery. The incorporation of prisms enabled smooth, dreamlike transitions, enhancing the overall visual narrative of the video.
SHAEFRI: MONSTER
Directing, filming, and editing this music video was an incredibly enjoyable experience. I utilised vintage lenses and prisms to craft a haunting, surreal dreamscape, guiding the audience through a nightmarish adventure.
KITRI
I collaborated with fashion brand Kitri to capture a behind-the-scenes look at one of their photo shoots. I produced a visually captivating and dreamy aesthetic that enhanced the overall vibe of the shoot.
CARE DENTAL PLATINUM
During the pandemic, I worked as a full-time videographer for a marketing firm specialising in facial aesthetics and dental services. I consistently produced content for their social media platforms on a weekly basis, which included filming procedures and conducting interviews with dentists to promote their services and business.
SPACE WHITE
Throughout my year at Ecosa, the largest online mattress retailer in Australia, I was tasked by the CEO to create an advertisement for a revolutionary cleaning product that utilizes only water, salt, and electrolysis. I meticulously planned the entire shoot, managed talent casting, wrote the script, filmed the content and handled the editing in post-production.
THE HEALTHY MUMMY
I had the opportunity to shoot and edit a behind-the-scenes and customer testimonial video for The Healthy Mummy, an Australian health and weight loss program designed specifically for busy mums. The video features the renowned dancer, Dame Darcey Bussell, and highlights how the program supports women in achieving their health and wellness goals.
EVIL EYE
I produced the music video for "Evil Eye," the captivating debut single by London-based singer-songwriter Violet Love Child, on a shoestring budget to truly capture the DIY essence of her distinctive sound. With limited resources, we focused on creativity and authenticity to bring her vision to life, resulting in a unique, unpolished aesthetic that perfectly complements the song's edgy vibe.
